Soft and buttery dinner rolls that can be made in just one hour!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Heat milk, water, and butter until warm, then add to dry ingredients.
  3. Add egg and mix until dough forms.
  4. Knead for 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Let rise for 30 minutes.
  6. Shape into rolls and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Let rise for another 10 minutes.
  8. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes or until golden.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use half milk and half water.
  • Brush with melted butter after baking for extra flavor.
