Apple Cinnamon French Toast Casserole

  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 6 slices turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Cube the French bread and add it to the egg mixture, stirring to coat.
  4. Fold in the diced apples.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Crumble the cooked turkey bacon on top.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until set and golden brown.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
