  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup bourbon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, salt, and spices.
  3. Add the eggs and whisk until well combined.
  4. Gradually mix in the heavy cream and bourbon.
  5. Pour the filling into a pie crust and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 40-45 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
