- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and yeast.
- Warm the milk and add it to the dry mixture along with melted butter and the egg. Mix until smooth.
- Let the dough rise for about 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough, spread with butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and other spices.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
- Place the rolls in a baking dish and let them rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla and spread over the warm rolls.
