  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and yeast.
  2. Warm the milk and add it to the dry mixture along with melted butter and the egg. Mix until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise for about 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough, spread with butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and other spices.
  5. Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  6. Place the rolls in a baking dish and let them rise again for 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
  8. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla and spread over the warm rolls.
