Cheeseburger Soup Recipe

A creamy and delicious cheeseburger soup recipe that brings the flavors of a cheeseburger into a comforting bowl of soup, topped with crispy turkey bacon.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  3. Add onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in chicken broth, potatoes, carrots, and celery. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
  5. After 15 minutes, mix in flour and milk. Stir until combined and thickened.
  6. Add cheddar cheese and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until the cheese is melted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with crispy turkey bacon.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use beef broth instead of chicken broth.
  • Adding a dollop of sour cream on top enhances the creaminess.
