- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Add onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Stir in chicken broth, potatoes, carrots, and celery. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
- After 15 minutes, mix in flour and milk. Stir until combined and thickened.
- Add cheddar cheese and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until the cheese is melted.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with crispy turkey bacon.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use beef broth instead of chicken broth.
- Adding a dollop of sour cream on top enhances the creaminess.
