  • 1/4 cup decorative sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the vanilla and almond extracts, mixing until combined.
  4. Gradually blend in the flour and cornstarch until a soft dough forms.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped cherries.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Flatten each ball slightly and sprinkle with decorative sugar.
