  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter and mix well.
  4. Add baking soda and salt, mix until combined.
  5. Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  6. Finally, mix in the flour until just combined.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon, then layer with remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before removing from the pan.
