Crème Brûlée French Toast

A delicious twist on classic French toast, infused with the flavors of Crème Brûlée and paired with turkey bacon for a unique breakfast experience.

  • 4 slices brioche bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 slices turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  2. Soak each slice of brioche in the mixture for a few minutes on each side.
  3. Cook turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, cook the soaked brioche slices until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Serve with crispy turkey bacon and a sprinkle of extra sugar on top, then caramelize the sugar with a kitchen torch for a brûlée effect.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, let the brioche soak in the mixture overnight in the refrigerator.
  • Be careful when using the kitchen torch around the sugar, as it can quickly burn.
