- 12 ounces bow tie pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the bow tie pasta according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the pasta, followed by half of the beef mixture, and half of the ricotta mixture. Repeat layers.
- Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
