Easy Bow Tie Pasta Lasagna

A delightful take on traditional lasagna using bow tie pasta, this dish combines rich flavors and comforting textures.

  • 12 ounces bow tie pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the bow tie pasta according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the beef and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  6. In a baking dish, layer half of the pasta, followed by half of the beef mixture, and half of the ricotta mixture. Repeat layers.
  7. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • This dish can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
  • Let leftovers cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
