OUTBACK POTATO SOUP

A creamy and comforting soup inspired by Outback’s famous potato soup, featuring flavors of turkey bacon and cheddar cheese.

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the potatoes, then boil them in the chicken broth until tender.
  2. In a separate skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, and set aside.
  3. Once the potatoes are done, blend them with the chicken broth until smooth.
  4. Add heavy cream, cheddar cheese, black pepper, and garlic powder to the blended potatoes.
  5. Stir in the cooked turkey bacon and chives.
  6. Simmer the soup for a few minutes until heated through.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a lower calorie option, you can substitute cream with milk.
