  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup peppermint candy, crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and buttermilk, and mix until well combined.
  4. Fold in the crushed peppermint candy.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool before serving.
